one more time

I have been trying to post this for days...I am not sure why it isn't working.

So I have been dealing with insurance stuff all week basically. The good news is that the guy admitted fault and his insurance accepts that and I have the go-ahead to have my beautiful car fixed. The bad news is that the shop I chose to take it too can't fit me in until March 10th and it will take them about 5 days to fix it. But I will get a rental for those days. Of course I wish I had the rental now too because I worry that by driving on a car with a twisted suspension I am doing it more damage, and that I am going to wear out my full sized spare tire (I will now never own a car or truck that does not have a full sized spare was a great lifesaver in my case and kept me from being stuck in southern california trying to get my car fixed). Other than that I haven't really been in the mood to write in this blog. Then again, I don't not want to write in my I hope this mini update will suffice for now.

I am back

I have been back since 8:00 pm Sunday night...why then have I been so quiet? Well a lot happened. We had a great time at Disneyland. It was fun going with my bro and sister n law because neither of them had been awhile. My snl is very childlike and just lit up the whole time we were there. We had a great "let's go out" dinner...which was a lot of fun.

The worst part of the trip was Sunday...we went to the part for a last hurrah in the morning...SNL had one more ride she hadn't had a chance to ride yet...and some shopping needed to be we hung out at the part until about 11:30, trammed back to the parking got in the car and proceeded to leave...everyone a little sad that our adventure was ending :( I pulled out into an intersection (I was on Downtown Drive turning left onto Magic Way) my little green arrow telling me where to go I was hit in the rear driverside tire by a man from Fresno who ran a red light. Luckily it wasn't too hard...because we might have flipped over...but anyway...we didn't leave Anaheim until after 1:00 because the police were called and then we had to wait for a tow truck to come and change the tire...Two of my three passengers smacked their heads on their windows...but no one was hurt too badly. I suffered from a sore arm, a massive headach (probably from tension) and a bit of a sore neck. My car has $1600 worth of damage...but was drivable...mostly the left rear suspension was tweaked in the impact...that and the molding and painting and replacement of a tire that need to be done (including my rim which was bent). Luckily the people who hit me are nice upstanding people who readily admitted to the police that it was there fault as well as to my insurance it will probably get done quickly. I will give you all a better update later :o)
